Tawangmangu, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province (Part 2. Finish)

Tawangmangu is a district in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. It has  many travel destination especially natural tourism. At the first part, I had introduced you some of the tourism attractions in Karanganyar and now in particularly I will discuss Tawangmangu.

It destinations could reach by plane at Adi Sumarmo Airport and Solo Balapan  Station for about an hour. You do not have to be afraid become so bored because you will see beautiful scenery and picturesque landscape all the way to Tawangmangu. Therefore, do not forget to bring your camera.

So, What is the inside of Tawangmangu? You could see Grojogan Sewu Waterfall. It has been very familiar in this place. From Tawangmangu, you can also start hiking to Lawu Mountain through Cemoro Kandang. Furthermore, you could enjoy and relax in Sarangan Lake.

If you feel hungry, do not worry. You can try many local cuisines, for instance Rabbit Satay or Hedgehog Satay. Moreover, there are Soto  (kind of soup), pecel (traditional salad with peanut sauce). And for the beverage, you can try sereh hangat (hot lemongrass), jahe gepuk (hot ginger).

Meanwhile, if you tired traveling and there are still many places unvisited, you can take accommodation around Tawangmangu. You do not have to worry about the prices because many low -cost hotel are available.

Ramadhan

Ramadhan is the time when Moslem Peoples get fasting for a month. It's a period when Moslems restrain their appetency. They don't eat and drink from dawn to sunset or Maghrib time. They recommended enhancing their act of worship. But before they start fasting, Moslems suggest to Sahur (eating before cockcrowing).  And the unique things are many people sales foods for breaking the fast (Takjil).
