Bali is Dying

COVID-19 caused a big loss in the tourism sector. Bali, the land of the Gods has a bad effect. Peoples who live from tourism are suffering. Nobody visited Bali. There is only several domestic tourist who have a short vacation. During the pandemic, many peoples are afraid of traveling to a crowded place.

Foreign tourists have not come to Bali during the travel restriction around the world. Finally, Bali becomes deserted. Many tourism businesses have bankrupt. Peoples have lost their job since people are restricted to get around.

Many hotels provide a discount, but it is still quiet. Fortunately, government relaxes the social restriction. So, people can trip to Bali for vacation or business. 270 million populations definitely are very helpful to move the economy, not only in Bali but also to the other regions.

During the pandemic, tourism and its derivatives were the sectors that had the hardest hit. Tourism is about traveling, moving people from one place to another. When a pandemic begins and traveling are become restricted, So tourism has died.

It seems will take a long time to recover and become a normal situation. Every country still waits and sees. Scholar and expert continuously looking for effective vaccines and answering how to deal with the COVID-19.
