Things to Know Before Going to Ijen Crater (Kawah Ijen Banyuwangi)

Ijen Crater is a tourist attraction which is located on the border between Banyuwangi and Bondowoso regency (East Java Province, Indonesia). To reach it places yo have to climb mount Ijen. This beautiful place usually visited by more than 2000 tourists every month and makes them return to enjoy the beauty of Ijen.

In Ijen, you can see blue fire and sunrise, but before you go to Ijen, It is important to pay attention to a few things below.


1. Steep Road

The road towards Ijen Crater is steep, So prepare your vehicle and physics. The uphill roads reach 45 degrees. You have to careful, especially when going in the night.
